Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza:

By May 12, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 66,357+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (52,862), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 13,495+). 

By May 12, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 119,648.

By May 12, 2025, according to news report, 963 Palestinians who were killed, 6,746 who were injured, and 12,042*, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

Note About the Missing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip:

On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate.

"مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَٰلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا"  (الْمَائِدَةُ ، 5: 32).

"وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا" (النِّسَاءُ ، 4: 93).

"إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيراً ‎(الإسْرَاءُ ، 17: 7).

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

"If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Death toll across Gaza Strip surges to 52,862, over 119,648 injured

GAZA, May 12, 2025 (WAFA) –  

At least 33 Palestinians were killed and 94 others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the region, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The Ministry confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to 52,862 fatalities, with an additional 119,648 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

In addition, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, the death toll since Israel’s resumption of the genocide on March 18 after a two-month truce has also climbed to 2,749, with nearly 7,607 reported wounded.

Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews, according to the health authorities.

Gaza: Israeli massacre following attack on school sheltering families

The Israeli occupation army committed a horrifying massacre early Monday morning after it bombed a school sheltering displaced families in Jabalya, northern Gaza.

According to local sources, Israeli airstrikes targeted Fatima Bint Asad School in Jabalya killing at least 15 civilians and injuring dozens, mostly children and women.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army bombed several homes in the eastern area of Gaza City’s Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood.

Gaza: Several Palestinian killed in Israeli bombing of school housing displaced people

GAZA, May 12, 2025 (WAFA) —

Medical sources announced that the death toll from the Israeli occupation's bombing of a school housing displaced persons early Monday morning has risen to 15, with several others injured.

The medical sources added that five children were among the dead and several others injured after Israeli warplanes targeted the second floor of the Fatima Bint Asad School, which houses displaced persons in Jabalya Al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.

A number of civilians were killed and others injured after Israeli warplanes bombed a house near the 'Hamad Al-'Hasanat Mosque, west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation army also destroyed several homes in the eastern areas of the Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.

 Israel continues deadly attacks across Gaza

The Israeli occupation army continued last night and on Monday to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporters in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced families in Jabalya in northern Gaza. At least 16 civilians were martyred and many others were injured, mostly children and women.

Another Israel airstrike on a house near the 'Hammad Al-'Hasanat Mosque in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza claimed the lives of three people and injured others.

The Israeli occupation army also bombed a gathering of civilians in Al-Jumu’ah market in Gaza City’s Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood, killing one of them and injuring others.

The bodies of four martyrs were reportedly evacuated from the Qizan Al-Najjar area in Khan Younus following an Israeli strike.

Meanwhile, several Palestinians in Gaza were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks.

The Israeli occupation army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.

IOFs kidnap several Palestinians in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) last night and on Monday morning.

According to local sources, the IOFs stormed Balata refugee camp in eastern Nablus at dawn and kidnapped a young man after ransacking his home.

In Tulkarem, the IOFs kidnapped two young men from the southern neighborhood of the city and two others from Qaffeen town.

In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped two citizens from Al-Maniya village and a teenager from Sa'hour town.

In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), the Israeli occupation apartheid  regime police forces, with the help of the illegal Israeli settlers, kidnapped several West Bank citizens who work in the suburbs and Al-Matar area of the holy city.

Toulkarm: 106 days since Israel's aggression began on the city and refugee camps

TOULKARM, May 12, 2025 (WAFA) —

The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on the city of Toulkarm and its camp for the 106th consecutive day, and on the 93rd day in the Nour Shams refugee camp, amid an ongoing escalation of field raids, arrests, and home evictions.

WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces arrested "Isam 'Oada, Fadi Al-Salman, and Muhammad Al-Bastami at dawn today after raiding their homes in the southern neighborhood of the city and vandalizing their contents. 'Oada, the secretary of the National Gathering of Martyrs' Families in Toulkarm, was arrested and abused earlier this month to pressure him to hand over one of his sons. 'Oada is the father of detainees Mu'hammed and Isma'eel 'Oada, who are being held in Israeli prisons under administrative detention.

She added that the occupation forces are sending military reinforcements, including vehicles and infantry units, to the city around the clock. These reinforcements patrol its main streets, obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles by provocatively honking their horns and deliberately driving against traffic, obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles.

This coincided with the forced evacuation of several residents of the eastern neighborhood of the city, specifically the area adjacent to the Abu al-Foul neighborhood in Toulkarm refugee camp. The residents are from the Abu Safiya and Tarabiyya families. This area is subject to frequent evictions.

Occupation forces also raided residential buildings around the Dhnaba cemetery east of the city, vandalizing their contents and interrogating their residents.

In a related context, occupation forces continued their escalation on the ground in the Toulkarm and Nour Shams camps, under a tight siege. Massive explosions were heard throughout the area, accompanied by heavy smoke.

In recent days, Nour Shams camp has been subjected to extensive demolitions and demolition of residential buildings in the neighborhoods of Al-Manshiyya, Al-Maslakh, Al-Jami', Al-'Iyadah, and al-Shuhada. This is part of the occupation's plan to demolish 106 homes and residential buildings in the Toulkarm and Nour Shams camps. Tension remains high in the camp as residents anticipate a new wave of demolitions.

According to local estimates, the number of buildings demolished by Israeli bulldozers over the past week has reached 15, including residential apartments. Residents were evacuated after obtaining prior coordination and were forcibly displaced during the ongoing aggression.

The occupation also continues to seize homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, converting them into military barracks after forcibly evacuating their residents. Israeli forces have stationed their vehicles in the vicinity, even though some buildings have remained under Israeli control for more than two months.

The ongoing Israeli aggression and escalation on the city of Toulkarm and its two refugee camps has resulted in the killing of 13 citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been injured and arrested, and extensive damage has been inflicted on infrastructure, including homes, shops, and vehicles, which have been subjected to complete or partial demolition, arson, vandalism, looting, and theft.

The aggression also resulted in the forced displacement of more than 4,200 families from the Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, comprising over 25,000 citizens. It also resulted in the complete destruction of more than 400 homes and the partial destruction of 2,573 others. Furthermore, the entrances and alleys were sealed off with earth mounds, transforming them into isolated areas devoid of any sign of life.

Al-Aqsa Mosque guards thwart attempt by a group of the illegal Israeli settlers to bring animal sacrifice to the mosque's courtyards

JERUSALEM, May 12, 2025 (WAFA) – 

The guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque Monday thwarted an attempt by a group of the illegal Israeli settlers  to bring an "animal sacrifice" into its courtyards through Bab Al-Ghawanma.

Local sources reported that colonists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque through Bab Al-Ghawanma—one of its gates—in possession of a small lamb. Al-Aqsa guards pursued them and thwarted their attempt to offer it in Al-Aqsa on the second Passover holiday.

594 of the illegal Israeli settlers  stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque today, performing provocative Talmudic rituals in its courtyards, amid restrictions on worshippers.

Meanwhile, Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate condemned in a statement the attempt to slaughter an animal sacrifice inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, which it considers a dangerous development that cannot be ignored.

The Governorate warned that a group of extremist colonists attempted this morning to smuggle a small lamb into Al-Aqsa Mosque for the purpose of slaughtering it inside its courtyards, in a criminal attempt to violate the sanctity of the holiest site for Muslims after Mecca and Medina.

It reported that three settlers managed to smuggle a sheep hidden inside a cloth bag through Al-Ghawanma Gate, in an attempt to slaughter the sacrifice according to Talmudic rituals.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque

Scores of extremist Jewish settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday morning, amid restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to the Islamic Awqaf Administration in the holy city, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque through its Maghariba Gate and provocatively toured its courtyards under police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed provocative dances and Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

Armed illegal Israeli settlers graze their sheep near Palestinian residents' homes south of Hebron

HEBRON, May 12, 2025 (WAFA) –  

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers Monday grazed their sheep near the homes of Palestinian citizens in the village of Susiya in the Masafir Yatta area, south of Hebron.

Media activist Osama Makhamra noted that a group of  armed colonists, protected by occupation forces, grazed their sheep near Palestinian homes and proprieties.

He pointed out that the colonists deliberately destroy crops and trees on a daily basis. The expulsion of shepherds from pastures aims to forcibly displace citizens from their lands for the benefit of colonial expansion.

Illegal Israeli settlers continue attacking Palestinians, their properties in Msafer Yatta

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), May 12, 2025 (WAFA) –  

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers  continued their attacks on Palestinians and their proprieties Monday in the village of Umm Al-Khair in the Masafir Yatta area, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

Media activist Osama Makhamra confirmed that a group of Israeli colonists placed iron corners and pipes on citizens' lands in the village of Umm al-Khair in Masafir Yatta, with the aim of seizing Palestinian lands for colonial expansion.

Colonists also stole the phone of a foreign activist while he was documenting colonists destroying agricultural crops.

They also released their livestock onto Palestinian crops near the home of a local resident, east of Sha'b Al-Batm, in the vicinity of citizens' homes in the village of Susiya.

Illegal Israeli settlers seize and destroy agricultural lands in the West Bank

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers seized and vandalized swaths of Palestinian agricultural land in different areas of the West Bank on Monday.

Local activist and journalist Osama Makhamra reported that a horde of settlers placed metal corners and pipes on citizens’ lands in the village of Umm al-Khair in Masafir Yatta area as part of their efforts to seize the area.

Additionally, armed settlers released their livestock into swaths of cultivated land and near the homes of Sha'b Al-Batm community in Masafir Yatta.

Settlers also stole the cellphone of a foreign activist as he was documenting their destruction of Palestinian crops in Masafir Yatta.

Israeli forces continue to demolish homes in Nour Shams camp amid ongoing offensive

Toulkarm, May 12, 2025 (WAFA) –  

Israeli occupation continued on Monday to demolish homes within the Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Toulkarm, as the military offensive on the camp enters its 93rd consecutive day.

Local sources told WAFA that Israeli bulldozers are continuing to demolish residential buildings in the al-Jami' neighborhood, amidst the sounds of massive explosions in the area.

This escalation came as part of the occupation's plan to demolish 106 homes and buildings in the Toulkarm and Nour Shams camps. The plan was announced more than 10 days ago and began last week.

According to local estimates, 15 buildings—comprising multiple residential apartments—were demolished over the past week alone. Residents had been forcibly evacuated prior to the demolitions, but were ultimately displaced as part of the ongoing military offensive.

 Israel’s security cabinet okays large-scale land theft in the West Bank

Israel’s security cabinet approved on Sunday a decision aimed at implementing large-scale land registration in the West Bank for the first time since the territory came under occupation in 1967.

This Israeli decision would lead to the final registration of property rights in Area C of the West Bank – the area placed under exclusive Israeli control according to the Oslo Accords. This violates international law on occupied Palestine and is expected to deepen discrimination against Palestinians, who are likely to face significant challenges in proving their land rights.

Additionally, the security cabinet instructed the Israeli military establishment to halt “by any means at its disposal” a parallel land registration process initiated by the Palestinian Authority (PA). Israeli war minister Israel Katz said the decision would strengthen Israeli settlements in the West Bank area.

The term “land registration” refers to the official recording of property rights following a process of mapping and verification of ownership claims. Once finalized, the registration, known in Palestine as Tabu, is very difficult to contest. As part of the process, any land without documented ownership claims is transferred to the Israeli occupation state.

Land registration efforts in the West Bank began during the British Mandate of Palestine and continued under Jordanian rule, but Israel froze the process after occupying the Palestinian territory.

Lawyer Michael Sfard, a specialist in international human rights law and the laws of war, told the Hebrew media that the decision violates the fundamental principle that bars occupying powers from making long-term changes in occupied territory.

“There is no chance that Palestinians will have their rights recognized,” he said, adding that the decision will lead to “a massive land grab by Israel of all lands in Area C.”

“It is no coincidence that occupiers are prohibited from conducting land registration,” he added. “The ban stems from the fact that under occupation, it is impossible to carry out such a process freely.”

“Palestinians do not have access to the information and documents needed to prove their rights,” the lawyer said. Sfard also noted that so-called absentees, meaning Palestinians who do not live in Israel or the West Bank, cannot participate in the process, even if they are landowners. “The occupying power, and not a neutral party, adjudicates the claims. This fuels a complete mistrust and a fear, pushing many Palestinians to avoid taking part in the process.”

The draft resolution formulated by Katz and finance minister Bezalel Smotrich says that the security cabinet will instruct the Israeli army’s central command chief to initiate land registration in Area C.

Under the plan, Israel’s justice ministry’s land registry and settlement of rights department, as well as the army’s legal adviser and its settlement administration will work on finalizing a policy framework within 60 days to implement the registration process.

In recent years, the PA launched its own land registration process, which the Israeli government does not recognize.

According to Haaretz website, the decision also outlines measures like blocking PA officials and surveyors from entering areas where the registration process is underway, preventing the transfer of foreign financial aid intended to support the PA and demanding that senior PA officials halt their registration efforts.

An additional clause of the decision instructs the army’s chief of staff, the head of the Shin Bet security agency and the Mossad chief to provide the finance ministry with information on funds the PA invested in the registration process, including money raised from foreign countries. This information would then be used to deduct the amounts from taxes Israel collects from Palestinians and transfers to the PA.

Katz called the decision “revolutionary,” claiming it “does justice for Jewish settlement in the West Bank and will lead to its strengthening and expansion.”

Smotrich, for his part, said “the land registration process joins other efforts to regulate new settlements, planning, construction and the development of roads and infrastructure that we are leading to bring another million settlers [into the area], strengthen Israel’s security belt and eliminate (what he labeled as) the threat of a Palestinian terror state.”

German Government alarmed by developments in Gaza

The German government expressed deep concern over the developments in the Gaza Strip and emphasized its desire to see a ceasefire reached as soon as possible.

In a statement issued on Monday, the German government clarified that Chancellor Friedrich Merz has not issued an invitation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit Germany.

According to the statement, Chancellor Merz is expected to engage in discussions with Israeli President Isaac Herzog to discuss the humanitarian situation in Gaza, in light of the alarming developments in the Strip.

The German government reaffirmed its adherence to international law, stating that any forced displacement from the Gaza Strip would constitute a violation of international law.

Warning of Gaza’s health system collapse as acute shortage of medical supplies worsens

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that hospital operating rooms, intensive care units, and emergency rooms are now operating with worn-out medical equipment and a lack of vital supplies, warning that this severe shortage of equipment is deepening the crisis facing hospitals and hindering the work of medical staff.

In a press statement on Monday, the ministry said that hospitals in the Gaza Strip are now lacking mobile X-ray machines and anesthesia equipment, and that surgical supplies for specialized procedures such as orthopedics, vascular surgery, and ophthalmology are not available.

The Ministry of Health also pointed out that essential medical gases such as carbon dioxide, medical fabrics, beds, and infection control supplies have run out, amid a lack of food supplies for staff working around the clock as a result of the blockade.

It stressed that the acute shortage of medical equipment and general supplies is exacerbating the complex crisis facing hospitals and hampering the work of medical teams.

UN organizations: 2.1 million Gazans face starvation, as Israeli genocide continues

NEW YORK, May 12, 2025 (WAFA) – 

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) called for an end to the food blockade on the Gaza Strip, which has been ongoing for nine weeks, especially as the lives of 2.1 million people in the Strip are at stake.

The UN Office confirmed on its official website that its stocks are nearly depleted as the comprehensive Israeli blockade on Gaza enters its third month.

For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) stated that more than nine weeks have passed since the blockade of Gaza began, during which Israel prevents the entry of all humanitarian, medical, and commercial aid.

It added that the longer this blockade continues, the greater the irreparable damage to the lives of countless people.

The UN agency confirmed that thousands of its trucks are ready to enter, noting that its teams in Gaza are prepared to expand the scope of deliveries.

In this context, a report by the United Nations Satellite Imagery Analysis Program showed that approximately 81% of the arable land in the Gaza Strip has witnessed a significant decline in agricultural yields.

The UN report stated that the destruction of agricultural land resulted from the bombing and bulldozing operations carried out by the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

Since March 2, the Israeli occupation has prevented the entry of all relief, food, and medical aid into the Gaza Strip, on which the population depends entirely for survival.

Rights group: Atrocities committed in Sde Teiman require prosecuting Israeli officials as war criminals

The Palestine Center for Prisoner Studies said “what the Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed about the shocking violations committed in the Sde Teiman detention center is conclusive evidence of systematic war crimes, which requires urgent action to bring the Israeli leaders to trial before international courts.”

In a statement on Sunday, the center noted that “the testimony of the Israeli soldier, published by the newspaper, is a legal and moral indictment that reveals the involvement of the Israeli military and political leadership in atrocities against Palestinian detainees, most of whom are civilians.” The soldier confirmed that the detention center is used as a “sadistic torture camp” and that many Palestinians “entered alive and came out in body bags,” reflecting the scale of the crimes committed under direct supervision of Israeli officials, it added.

The soldier, who served in the detention center, quoted the prison commander as describing it as a “graveyard,” noting that the death of prisoners has become commonplace, and that the only surprise is who survives. He also confirmed that many wounded prisoners do not receive medical treatment and are left without food for weeks. They undergo surgery without anesthesia, are prevented from using the bathroom, and are held in inhumane conditions.

The center considered that “the importance of this testimony lies not only in its content, but also in its source, as it came from an eyewitness who served in the place and was reported by a well-known Israeli newspaper, which enhances its legal and media credibility and refutes any attempts to cast doubt on it.”

“The testimony confirms what has already been documented about crimes committed in the Sde Teiman detention center, which has become known as the ‘death prison’,” the center said, noting that what was published by Haaretz “represents only a fraction of the violations suffered by prisoners from the Gaza Strip, which have reached the level of rape, starvation, and deliberate execution, leading to the martyrdom of dozens of detainees, some of whom have been identified, while the fate of others remains unknown.”

The Palestine Center concluded its statement by calling on “all human rights and humanitarian organizations to document the Israeli soldier’s testimony and use it as a legal tool to condemn the Israeli officials before international forums and hold the perpetrators of crimes in the Sde Teiman detention center accountable.”

Since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza in October 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have arrested thousands of Palestinians, especially from the eastern and northern areas of the Strip, and thrown them into secret detention centers such as Sde Teiman, amid a widespread media and human rights blackout.

Over the past months, testimonies have emerged about horrific crimes committed inside that detention center, while human rights reports confirm that hundreds of prisoners have been killed under torture or due to deliberate medical negligence, amid shameful international silence.
